An artist will use a variety of creative and critical thinking processes to create an art object. The artist will base their choice of materials on personal experiences. They will use their physical creation to reveal their interpretation of the ideas they have learned along with other memories and experiences (Mamajanovich & Muhammedovich). Artworks can portray emotions, values, social and cultural contexts. They are able to do this because they have the capacity to evoke a response in the viewer. Art is an important part of our culture, and it has the ability to evoke strong emotions in people. It is a wonderful way to explore different ideas and perspectives.

Inspirational Piece

My inspirational piece of art is the prehistoric horse picture known as Chevaux de la Grotte Chauvet, which was discovered in December 1994 in southern France. Three cave explorers who found the painting’s hiding place were given the name Chauvet. The charcoal employed in the construction of the artwork dates back to more than 35,000 years ago, BCE, according to research activities (Tosello & Fritz, 2004). Four horses are depicted in the artwork utilizing three different hues, with the heads of each horse being highlighted by shading. It has been made to appear as though the horses are standing side by side thanks to the representation of their hindquarters and the double lines in their backs. It is also obvious how different colors were created by combining charcoal and floor. With closer inspection, it is simple to see that the artwork contains palm-made, partially crimson handprints. My Art Piece

The name of my art is Magical Winter trees. Water paper is crucial to the painting’s superb quality. I finished the painting with water color pencils. In addition, I used paint, a crayon, and a marker to complete the painting. I made sure to draw haphazard lines with the white crayon on the tree trunk and branches to give them a more appealing appearance. When viewing the picture, the lines are crucial in both directing the viewer’s eye and distinguishing the various shapes. I also used fat and soft brush when painting the river and trees in the rear background. I painted the leaves of the trees in the red to show that the drawing was during winter time. Connection

Both the Chauvet and my piece show how value, texture, space, shape, line, form, and color can be used to create the emotion and appearance of action. However, the Chauvet has been regarded as a prehistoric work of art because of its rough texture and harsh lines. My piece, on the other hand, uses a thin pencil and paper to create a more delicate appearance. This difference may be due to the different media used to create the artwork. The Chauvet was created with charcoal and flour mixture, while my piece was created with a pencil.
