a. Discuss Your Overall Perceived Competency Level in Informatics

After completing the self-appraisal questionnaire developed by Farzandipour et al. (2021), I perceive my informatics competency to be at an intermediate level. I have developed strong foundational skills in areas such as electronic health records (EHRs), clinical documentation, and the use of basic healthcare technologies. These competencies enable me to efficiently perform routine clinical tasks and maintain accurate documentation.

However, I recognize the need to further develop my expertise in complex data management, informatics-driven redesign of care processes, and proficient use of clinical decision support systems (CDSS). To address these areas, I am committed to continuous learning, engaging in hands-on projects, and participating in initiatives that integrate informatics into healthcare workflows. Through these actions, I aim to enhance both my technical proficiency and confidence in utilizing advanced healthcare technologies.

Data Management and Analysis
