The acquisition of portable monitor equipment for patient safety improvement.

Project description

The project will see the Community Hospital acquire portable monitor equipment that will allow nurses to check on patients on time. The project will evaluate the feasibility of acquiring portable monitor equipment for patient safety improvement. Portable devices monitor vital signs such as respiratory rates, ECG, and oxygen saturation and transmit the information back to a central monitor. The nurses will be notified and through an alarm about the emergency, even when they are on the move or busy attending to others. The purpose of the project will be to improve patient care.
