As for her family relationships, her mother and she do not speak to each other.

That may be why Brenda is lonely, and has no interest in dating. This is probably why she is unhappy with her career in marketing because, it involves so much conformity to social interactions. Stage 7 of the hypothesis encompasses the three years 40–65. To this date at the age of 43, Brenda still wants that.

In the first eighteen months of a baby’s existence there is a time of positive dependence and a time of negative dependence. This step involves understanding how to manage the self which is usually achieved in kid during this stage. At the moment she not only lacks companionship but is also averse to communication with other people. In the last stage seven of Erikson’s theory of psychosocial development, Brenda experienced feelings of uselessness from failure at different stages in her life.
