According to Ignatowicz et al. (2023), healthcare organizations are constantly changing due to changing population demographics, technology advancements, disease patterns, and other discoveries, including new policies hence being part of daily healthcare settings. On the other hand, there has been an increasing demand for care practices founded on safety, quality, evidence-based, and patient needs, hence the need for care practices to evolve to meet these facets of effective care (Ignatowicz et al., 2023)Resilience And Change Discussion Paper. The concept of organizational resilience is recognized as an organization’s ability to anticipate, get ready for, respond, and adapt to changes and disruptions in its operations and healthcare settings to remain effective and prosper.

An organization’s resilience is critical to its effort to remain functional and practical despite changes in the care environment. For example, the emergence of Covid-19 has profoundly impacted health organizations in terms of care delivery. The challenges have helped organizations intensify the concept of resilience. Care organizations can adopt different steps or measures to remain resilient. These include; establishing and maintaining a supportive network of stakeholders in the organization, being flexible regarding change adoption, paying attention to organizational needs, and establishing positive relationships and purpose.
