As a committee member, you have been assigned to consider the components of a new HIS from different perspectives. From the perspective of a client the new HIS should contain the ability to streamline admissions and discharges utilizing “smart technology can benefit patients through improved efficiencies” (Hebeda, 2018, p.142), saving valuable time.
