This illustrates how core nursing skills can transcend specialties, ensuring more comprehensive and effective patient care.

The information reinforced during the simulation is both practical and applicable in several key ways.

One of the most meaningful learning moments came from the Foley catheter check-off with Professor Alvarado. She corrected my technique, providing real-time feedback that enhanced my confidence and accuracy. Beyond technical skills, she emphasized the significance of allergy assessment, particularly regarding iodine and shellfish. This teaching reinforced the broader concept of patient safety and highlighted how seemingly small details can have major implications in clinical care.
