Description of the Assignment
Students are required to complete the Evidence-Based Practice Change Project Proposal Template by addressing all major components of an EBP proposal. This includes identifying a relevant nursing practice problem, formulating a PICOT question, and incorporating a theoretical framework that supports the project. In addition, students will conduct a literature review, identify stakeholders, and define methods for data collection, analysis, and evaluation.
The proposal serves as a framework for applying evidence-based change strategies to real-world nursing issues within the student’s specialty track.
Criteria for Content
Each proposal must include the following key sections:
Nursing Practice Issue/Problem
Students should describe the practice issue or problem within their nursing specialty and specify their MSN Specialty Track. The problem should be clearly articulated with supporting background information.
PICOT Question
The PICOT question must be clearly restated to guide the direction of the project.
Stakeholders
