The books establish four possible chairs, each representing a different growth stage in the Christian life. The author identifies how the teachings and ministry applied by Jesus can also be used in churches or ministry. In addition, the author expounds on the different needs of people in each stage. The four steps identified include the seeker, believer, worker, and disciple-maker.
